What can you see in the portal?
This is where I would use your actual screenshots throughout the article rather than a lot of text.
Your Technology Health
The Dashboard gives you a quick snapshot of your overall technology environment. You can see your Technology Health Score, backup and security status, support activity, inventory, and recommendationsβall in one place.
Your Support Requests
See open and completed tickets for your company, check their status, review the work performed, and add information to an existing request.
Instead of wondering βWhatever happened with that issue?β you can see it for yourself.
Your Backups
See which systems are protected by DataSafe, when backups were last completed, how much data is protected, and whether your backup coverage is healthy.
This is particularly powerful because backup is one of those things businesses often assume is workingβuntil they need it.
Your Security
See the protection Computers, Inc. is providing across your endpoints, including threats detected and handled.
The portal can also identify software with known high-priority security vulnerabilities and show what we recommend doing about them.
Your Computers and Servers
Your system inventory provides a current view of the computers and servers we manage, including operating systems, hardware information, disk space, users, and device activity.
This makes it much easier to identify aging systems and begin planning replacements before they become emergencies.
From reactive IT to better technology decisions
This may be the most important section of the article.
The portal isn’t just about reporting what has already happened.
It helps us identify things that deserve attentionβcomputers running unsupported operating systems, devices running low on disk space, security vulnerabilities, aging equipment, backup concerns, and other issues that could affect your business.
That allows us to have a different kind of conversation:
Not just, βWhat broke today?β
But:
βWhat should we be thinking about next?β
That’s where I think the real value of managed IT should be.
Technology shouldn’t be a black box
You shouldn’t have to wonder whether your computers are being monitored, whether your backups are working, whether security threats are being handled, or what your IT company is actually doing for you.
The CI Client Portal was built to give you that visibility.
It’s another step toward the way we believe IT should work: proactive, transparent, and focused on helping you make better technology decisions.
